1. General description
The 74AHCV14A is a hex inverter with Schmitt-trigger inputs, capable of transforming
slowly changing input signals into sharply defined, jitter-free output signals.
Inputs ar e overvolt age tolerant. This fea ture allows the use of these de vices as translators
in mixed voltage environments.
This device is fully specified for partial power down applications using I

. The I

circuitry disabl es the output, preventing th e potentially damaging backflow cur rent through
the device when it is powered down.
